Patented Elastomer Gland rides static with the shaft, allowing for moderate shaft misalignment, up to ¼” shaft run out. The TitanSeal shaft seal is designed to be air purged at 5-10 psi over any internal pressure, or grease purged with silicone based or synthetic grease, to enhance the effectiveness and extend the life of the TitanSeal shaft seal. .
TitanSeal Heavy Duty Series Seal is available for more demanding applications: incline or vertical shafts, internal head pressure, etc. The stationary face is mineral filled Teflon, our unique process of production provides a denser, flatter stationary face; while the rotating face is 316SS, our
Patented Silicone Elastomer has driving humps to aid in the rotation of the 316SS stationary face. Also available with material options where temperatures will be in excess of 180*F. TitanSeal Split Series permits installation without removal of the bearing or drive. For ease of installation, all seal components are fully split. Available with material options to suit your specific seal requirements. TitanSeal's
Split Series utilizes the same principal as our Heavy Duty Series, with our
denser, flatter, mineral filled Teflon stationary face, 316SS rotating face and
specialty Patented Elastomer. Also available with material options where temperatures will be in excess of 180*F.

TitanSeal Externally Adjustable Series Seals allow for adjustment of seal faces in hard to reach applications, or if thermal expansion is a concern. Available in fully split and solid design, material options available to accommodate your requirements. Care is required during installation NOT to overtighten, the spring tension ring should be adjusted finger tight, only adjusted in 1/4 inch increments if required. TitanSeal is mounted to the vessel wall using 15 to 20 foot pounds of torque TitanSeal powder Shaft seals should not be installed on severely worn equipment.
